1. Who we are
NDSTAT TECH INNOVATIONS ("NDSTAT Analytics", "we", "us") is an evaluation, research and data analytics firm headquartered at No. 1 Ejigbo Street, FUTA South Gate, Akure, Ondo State, Nigeria. We operate this website (www.ndstat.com), internal staff and admin portals, client portals, and deliver research, evaluation and technology engagements for organisations in Nigeria and beyond. Questions about this policy or your data can be sent to info@ndstat.com.
2. Information we collect
Website visits. Like most websites, we keep basic analytics for the pages you view (page path, referrer, approximate location derived from IP, device type and browser). This is aggregated and used only to understand traffic and improve the site.
Enquiries and newsletter. When you submit the contact form or subscribe to our newsletter we store the details you provide: name, organisation, email address, phone number (optional) and your message. Newsletter subscriptions store your email address and subscription status only.
Portal accounts. Client and staff portal accounts hold the identity and contact details your organisation provides (name, email, job title, department, profile photo when uploaded), plus the content you create or share in the portal — files, tasks, messages and project updates.
Engagement data. Research and evaluation projects may involve personal data of survey respondents, programme participants or client staff. How that data is collected, anonymised and reported is governed by the specific protocol, consent process and data-sharing agreement agreed with the commissioning organisation for each engagement.
3. How we use information
We use the information described above to: respond to enquiries and prepare proposals; deliver contracted research, evaluation and technology services; operate and secure the portals; send the newsletter you subscribed to (every email carries a one-click unsubscribe link); meet legal, audit and contractual obligations; and improve our website and services. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use engagement data for unrelated purposes.
4. Legal basis and consent
We process personal data on the basis of your consent (enquiries, newsletter subscriptions, survey participation), the performance of a contract (portal accounts, engagement delivery), our legitimate interest in operating a secure website and business, or compliance with legal obligations. You may withdraw consent at any time — unsubscribing from the newsletter is instant, and consent withdrawal for research participation is explained in each study's protocol.
5. Sharing and processors
We share personal data only with: the commissioning client for an engagement (as the data controller); vetted field teams and partners who need it to deliver contracted work, under confidentiality obligations; and service providers that host or transmit data on our behalf — our cloud hosting, database, file storage and email delivery providers — who process data solely on our instructions. Findings published in reports and on this website are aggregated and de-identified unless separate consent for attribution was obtained.
6. Security and retention
Access to personal and engagement data is limited to the staff who need it, protected by authenticated accounts and encrypted transport. Project data is retained for the period required by the engagement agreement and applicable audit requirements; website analytics are retained for operational analysis; portal accounts are removed or anonymised when the relationship ends or you request it. We apply the safeguards of the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA) and, where an engagement involves international funders, the data-protection terms of the underlying agreement.
7. Cookies and tracking
This website uses only the cookies strictly needed to keep you signed in to the portals. Our privacy-respecting, first-party page analytics do not require advertising cookies, and we do not run third-party advertising trackers on this site.
8. Your rights
Subject to the NDPA and applicable law, you may request access to the personal data we hold about you, correction of inaccurate data, deletion where retention is not legally required, a copy of your data in a portable format, and withdrawal of consent for processing based on it. To exercise any of these rights, email info@ndstat.com with enough detail to identify you and your request. We respond within a reasonable period and may verify your identity first.
9. Children
Our services are directed at organisations and professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children, and engagement data concerning minors is only collected under an approved research protocol with the consent safeguards such a protocol requires.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services or legal obligations evolve. Material changes are reflected in the "Last updated" date above, and material reductions in your privacy protections will be announced directly to affected portal account holders and newsletter subscribers.
